What's the one word you are guilty of using too much?
That would have to be tossup between “like” and “awesome”. But I have a good excuse; I grew up in L.A.
How did you end up doing what you are doing now?
I’m too much of a smartass to be gainfully employed in any field other than entertainment. Comedy is the only place where that’s considered an asset so it’s the only realistic option for me.

Which member of the Wu-Tang Clan best describes your personality?
I’d have to go with Masta Killa because I tend to be a pretty introverted, introspective person when I’m not on a stage.
Dogs or Cats, who wins? Why?
I can’t choose. I’ve owned cats for years but still consider myself a dog person. They each have their own merits. I do love that cats are hands-off and low-maintenance because I’m a busy person. Dogs need constant validation that you love them, and right this moment, ain’t nobody go time for that.
What is the best part of any given day for you?
That part where I’m sleeping. Seriously, naps are the shit.
In a zombie apocalypse who would you want on your survival team?
The people who are smart enough to bring back electricity and wifi. I don’t wanna live in a world without Netflix.

What is the last thing you searched for on google?
I’m assuming you mean my G-rated searches; the other ones are done incognito so I can’t refer to my browser history for a good one there. Looks like it was directions to a venue I have a show at. Borrrrrrring, I know!
If you could talk to your high school self, what would say?
You're completely right to hate high school. Keep writing and dreaming and doing what you’re doing because you’ll end up right where you need to be. But still, go outside more and eat more vegetables.
What is the best thing or meal you ever ate?
Everything I cook myself is pretty awesome, but I don’t think that counts. I had a pretty great seared Ahi salad with a Sriracha vinaigrette a few weeks ago that was pretty awesome even though it sounds ridiculously basic. Also a big fan of whiskey bread pudding and every burrito I’ve eaten in San Francisco. If anyone wants to recommend a life-changing culinary experience to me I’m up for it. I’ll even document the experience for authenticity.
What is a memorable project that you are working on or have worked on?
The LGBT Comedy Tour I’m working on right now is gearing up to be pretty memorable (herequeercomedy.com). I still find it rare to see a truly diverse group of comics on an LGBT show, so with this tour I wanted to be able to showcase a range of unique styles, voices, and life experiences instead of the homogeny that’s so common.
