Thank you to everyone who came out to Color Your Troubles Away: June Pride last night. It's always a good time gathering together with folks and partaking in some coloring. The world has been topsy turvy lately. Coming together for a night of good food and good times was much needed. It felt good to reconnect with folks from API-EQUALITY LA and The Park's Finest.
When I first started Color Your Troubles Away it was a way to come together for stress relief. It then turned into a traveling event that supported local businesses. I could not have done these events without the support of The Park's Finest, Wanderlust Creamery, and Tribal Cafe. Bringing Color Your Troubles Away to different spots was fun albeit stressful, so I'm proud to announce that Color Your Troubles Away now has an official home! We will now be at POT Lobby Bar at the The Line Hotel in Koreatown, Los Angeles! Join us on Thursday, July 28th, 7-9pm to kick off our new residency.

Check out our mini episode on Filipino Names below. We're trying a thing where we do mini episodes that cover more light hearted fare in comparison to a full episode where we tackle tougher subjects.
Tougher subjects like Therapy and Mental Health which is what we talk about it Episode 2. It's early on our podcast journey, but I'm really proud of what Joe, Ryan, Mike, and I are creating. The conversations are enlightening and the comments and feedback we get from folks has been awesome.

From being on campus during the UCLA shooting to Orlando's tragedy. If there ever was a time to come together for stress relief, it's this month. Thank you to @theparksfinest for hosting us again. Thank you to @apiequalityla for collaborating with CYTA. Sheets from The Badass Feminist Coloring Book will be shared with everyone. API- Equality LA staff and members of their Steering Committee will be attending and available for one-on-one check-ins if you would like to talk through your feelings.
